Among the hundreds international transfers with Romanian football players in the last 19 years, DNA managed to collect proofs only in 12 cases, because many clubs from abroad refused to offer information
There were almost 3 years of research. Over 800 de transfers were checked. 17 rogatory commissions were solicited in several countries from Europe and Asia. Over 100 persons were investigated and interrogated. Scores of volumes which have over 20.000 pages. Among the 12 investigated transfers, Dinamo has 7 transfers, Rapid has 2, Gloria Bistriţa has 2 and Oţelul ahs one.

the proofs collected by DNA represent just a small part, the peak of the iceberg, from the businesses with Romanian football players. For transfers such as Adrian Mutu and Ianis Zicu to Inter, Marius Niculae to Sporting Lisboan or Ciprian Marica to Şahtior, the prosecutors didn’t manage to collect information. It is rumoured that only in the case of these 4 transfers, the difference between the amounts received and those registered would be of over 12 million dollars.
