The company currently manufactures a range of over 500 products athroom furniture manufacturer Savini Due from Sebes, Alba county, estimates business worth 6.5 million euros for this year, almost double against last year, when the company had seen its sales doubled, as well.
"For 2006, we intend to reach a 6.5-million euro turnover, and this as a starting point for the higher growth we estimate for 2007," stated Piersante Savini, manager of Savini Due in Sebes.
Last month, Savini Due operated an increase in the share capital and in 2006 intends to make investments in expanding its production capacity in Romania.
"One of the reasons why we decided to increase our share capital was to show our partners that we have a solid company and that we believe in Romania's economic development.
In 2006, we have already invested in expanding our production facility by 3,000 square metres, and we now plan to make investments in our technology and in training our personnel. So far, investments have reached 4.5 million euros," Piersante Savini added.
The company says it currently manufactures a range of over 500 products that it distributes in the large store networks in Romania, such as Romstal, Casa Ambient, Bricostore, Mobexpert or Dedeman, as well as in other furniture stores. Savini Due has some 200 active customers.
"The Romanian market is becoming increasingly demanding in terms of quality and design. Our customers want modern products with an exquisite design. They are very good at assessing the price of a product and want to get a good quality/price ratio," Savini also said.
Among Savini Due's main suppliers are Kronospan, Sirca Italia, Marmosim or Ecopack. According to information provided by the company, Savini Due currently has 245 employees and is expecting their number to reach 300 in the near future.
