iQuest's clients include companies from Germany, UK, Ireland, Sweden and France Romanian-German IT solutions developer and tester iQuest Technologies has announced a 40% increase in turnover in the first six months of this year compared with the same time in 2005.
"The turnover of the company went up by 15% in 2005 from 2004, and we estimate it will increase by up to 40% until the end of this year compared with 2005," stated Simona Marin, financial manager of iQuest Technologies.
According to company data available on the Finance Ministry's website, the turnover of the Cluj-based company exceeded 2 million euros in 2004, and the profit amounted to almost 150,000 euros.
The Romanian market of IT services will go up by nearly 20% this year, to 162 million euros, while the market of software applications will reach 51 million euros, compared with 45 million euros last year, according to a survey by the European Information Technology Observatory (EITO).
"We are mainly focusing on IT development services, but we also have a series of our own solutions we developed over the last few years. These products include an application for human resources management, a solution for automating business processes and an application for centralising polls. We intend to begin development of enterprise resource planning solutions this year that will target the Romanian market primarily," added Simona Marin.
The management says the company's services have constantly diversified so as to add complex software testing services, with 24-hour support developed this year, too.
