Timisoara-based Elbromplast, a producer of plastic injection moulding products, held by the French company Plastique du Val de Loire, is building a new industrial facility covering 10,000 sqm, with investments of around 1.5 million euros, according to company representatives.
Apart from construction of the industrial facility, Elbromplast's investment plans for this year include purchasing machines and equipment worth 1 million euros.
"We have managed to complete the construction of 8,000 sqm of the industrial facility, and estimate to start production in the new facility by September. We intend to boost production by building this industrial facility, in order to help us keep up with the increasingly large number of orders coming from our main clientele. We have closed sales contracts with various companies from Hungary, France, Russia, the Netherlands, and want to strengthen these partnerships in 2007," Radu Mircea, financial manager of Elbromplast, told ZF Transilvania.
The company's investment projects for 2006 mainly target expanding production capacities, in particular capacities for plastic injection moulding. In 2006, the Timisoara-based company witnessed sales worth around 10.5 million euros.
"The market segments we currently operate on are seeing a positive trend, which has prompted us to estimate an increase in the sales of our plastic injection moulding products, in comparison with previous years," says Radu Mircea. Exports account for 92% of the company's total turnover.
Elbromplast manufactures plastic, tubes, pipes, plates, foils, hoses and fittings, and sells products on the domestic market through stores in Arges and Timis counties. The company's external business partners are from Hungary, France, Russia, the Netherlands, Turkey and Brazil.
