The Government intends to reduce 30% of the number of authorizations, licenses and notices issued by central authorities and to introduce the 30 days term for tacit approval for all other documents that remain into force, said the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Minister, Ovidiu Silaghi, in a press conference in Thursday. According to the inventory made by the Government, 509 categories of authorizations, notices and licenses are currently in force.
"We wish to introduce the 30 days term for tacit approval when such a document is requested, in case the institutions do not offer an answer in legal term. The term varies from case to case, it can be 7 or 9 days or even more than 30 days", Silaghi explained.
The emergency ordinance will be approved by the Government in one or two weeks at the most, the minister added. Authorizations issued by local authorities are not under the incidence of the new regulation.
