Executive MBA programmes at the Vienna University of Economics and Business administration, Asebuss, and Tiffin University are the best on the domestic market, reveals the first ever ranking of MBA and Executive MBA programmes in Romania, in a supplement compiled by ZF.
The ranking was created from almost 300 questionnaires that were filled in last year by students from business schools in Romania, which evaluated the programmes using several criteria, such as salary raises, networking, promotion, job changes etc.
Currently, there are 12 manager-training programmes available on the market - five Executive MBAs and seven MBAs, with three more poised to launch soon.

The MBA and EMBA programme rankings are compiled annually or every two years by the most prestigious business publications in the world, such as the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, The Economist and Forbes.
ZF's survey includes all the schools that offer MBA and EMBA programmes in Romania. Local schools are those that allow students to attend their classes in Romania.
They include the representative offices of some foreign business schools, as well as local universities that operate under international partnerships. However, a local business school has yet to expand outside Romania.
The ranking was based on two questionnaires - one for the representatives of business schools and one for last year's graduates. All in all, 500 questionnaires were sent and 300 processed, which accounts for a response rate of more than 40% from each school.
