The North Atlantic Alliance will have its own TV station, launching it during the Summit in Bucharest, NATO spokesman James Appathurai said, according to Associated Press. The initiative aims at improving the image of the Alliance and strengthen the public support for the mission in Afghanistan in several states.
Most of the online transmissions will be dedicated to the military mission in Afghanistan, involving 37,000 NATO military. Five TV crews will be deployed in the country, in order to report from the field on a regular basis.
