HotNews.ro presents the main gains of county capital mayors that the three biggest Romanian political parties secured in these local elections: Democrat Liberals (PD-L) obtained 15 city halls, closely followed by the Social Democratic Party (PSD) with 12 and the governing Liberals (PNL) with 7. Nationwide, Social Democrats won most mayors in both rounds (1,095) followed by Democrat Liberals with 878 city halls and Liberals with 680.
