Constitutional Court Judge and former Justice Minister (1992-1994) Petre Ninosu died on Saturday night, aged 63, Mediafax informs. Petre Ninosu was named in 2001 by the former president, Ion Iliescu, as judge in the Constitutional Court, with a nine-years mandate.
Born in 1943, Ninosu was a scientific researcher between 1969 and 1987, when he became a lawyer. After 1989, as former political convict, he was named deputy in the Legislation Department of the Justice Ministry, became a deputy and then a senator (1992).
Between 1992 and 1994, he was the Justice Minister, then became Minister for the Relation with the Parliament, then was once again elected senator in 1996.
