Russian gas giant Gazprom may once again cease deliveries to Ukraine, accusing the state's 400 million dollars debt, scheduled for payment on March 8, Kommersant, as quoted by France Presse. The Gazprom financial manager says that Ukraine is not likely to have the capacity to pay the bills for February.
"In case 400 million dollars are not paid before March 7, then we shall have to cease the gas deliveries towards Ukraine on March 8", said Andrei Kruglov, Gazprom financial manager,
Last week, Naftogaz Ucraina announced that there is a high chance that the bills will not be paid, because of the spectacular increase of debts at the Ukrainian end-users.
