Constanţa municipality continues the collaboration with the same company that maintained the traffic lights last year. In a previous edition, we disclosed the fact that SCIL Confort Urban [Urban Improvement] Ltd, having as unique owner Constanţa Local Municipal Council, was preparing to contract maintenance services for urban signalling systems. We also said that it might be possible that the auction should be won by the same company that had this job last year. And of course our suspicions have been confirmed. The contract for traffic lights maintenance and repairing was assigned on 16th of March to the company we have anticipated that will get these services for 2009: SC Marca Telecom Ltd Bucharest.
Confort Urban received three bids, but it seems that the Bucharest company offer was the most convenient. Besides, the company complied with all criteria included in the auction call advertised in the Electronic System of Public Acquisitions, where it was stated that the bidders should have at least another similar contract valuing 450,000.00 lei - and this condition was met by Marca Telecom thanks to the last year contract with the municipality.

According to the assigning announce, the criterion on which the winner was chosen was the most advantageous offer from an economical point of view. The estimated value of the contract was 450,000.00, including VAT, the sum of the assignment being 411,565.00 lei, including VAT (4.11 billion old lei).
