The Ministry of Youth and Sports, Monica Iacob Ridzi, the state secretary with the Ministry of Regional Development and Dwelling, Răzvan Murgeanu and the state secretary with the Ministry of Transports visited Constanţa yesterday.
The three governmental members were greeted by Constanţa democrat-liberals at the party's headquarters. Coming to the seaside for the purpose of taking part into the annual analysis meeting of Constanţa County Direction of Sports, Monica Iacob Ridzi declared that this institution is one of the most active in the whole country. The Minister of Youth and Sports wished to emphasise the fact that the crisis period we are crossing will leave no marks on performance sports.
They discussed with the mayors
Răzvan Murgeanu declared that his visit to Constanţa was a good opportunity of discussing with the county mayors. All three officials took part in the meeting with the representatives of local administrations
Murgeanu highlighted that for Constanţa county, there are several projects on the list of investments of his ministry. The state secretary enumerated the financing of some gymnasia to be built in Lumina, Constanţa, Tuzla and Cumpăna, adding that in a further stage, after August, there will be allocated funds for such constructions in Castelu, Cogealac and Techirghiol. Murgeanu also said that in Constanţa county the ministry finalised 170 apartments by means of ANL [National Agency for Dwelling], there were 286 in construction and another 508 projected. The democrat-liberal stated that during this period, European fund accessing is highly important. "Accessing these projects is the key of Romania's development for the next years", said Răzvan Murgeanu. Sports facilities for villages and swimming pools are next on the list of investments of the Ministry of Regional Development and Dwellings.
