The final report of the Romanian Parliamentary committee investigating the case of Sports minister Monica Iacob Ridzi recommends an official investigation for abuse in service and delapidation. Moreover, the committee calls for her resignation. Democrat Liberal deputies refused to vote for the report and do not agree with the committee's conclusions.

PM Emil Boc declared that the executive will dismiss any minister, subject of an official penal investigation. Their lay off will have to be called by the both the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies or by the President. Boc emphasized that he acts according to the Constitution.
