Pharmaceutical group A&D Pharma, the largest integrated marketing and sales services, wholesale and retail business in Romania which earlier this year announced the resignation of Vivian Diaconescu as COO of Chief Operating Officer of its marketing and sales business line has found its pick: Jean-Michel Lespinasse.
Jean-Michel Lespinasse has over 17 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most of it acquired during his time at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) from 1996 to 2006.
Prior to joining A&D Pharma, Lespinasse had been COO of Delta Medical Russia, a provider of full range pharmaceutical promotional services in Ukraine and Russia, according to the company.

The Dutch-based pharmaceutical group announced earlier this year the resignation of Vivian Diaconescu as COO of its marketing and sales business line, but remained in the company as shareholder. Diaconescu spent 10 years in A&D Pharma, serving in 14 positions. The news on his resignation from the helm of the company’s marketing & sales line came in the context of a series of additional top management changes, such as the resignation of CEO Dragos Dinu in summer 2008 and of CFO Roger Bazelaire.
Later on, the founders of the company Walid Abboud, Ludovic Robert, Roger Akoury and Charles Michel Eid, have restructured the board of directors, by reducing the number of members to 6. The four founders have also decided to commit more time to the company, Walid Aboud taking up the
