UPC will launch in Romania a package of High Definition (HD) TV channels on September 29, UPC Holding communications vice-president Bert Holtkamp announced. Plus, UPC will be testing a digital TV platform for kids. KidZone will allow children to choose shows. The service is forecasted to be launched in the middle of next year.
UPC Holding has made no secret of their intention to launch on-demand video services in several South-Eastern European countries.
