Indesit home appliance maker said it had appointed Giuseppe Parma as head of its operations in Romania. He takes over the post from Eugen Paturan who served as Country Manager for Romania for ten years.
Giuseppe Parma joined Indesit in 1996, as sales officer at the company’s office in Italy. As of 1999, he held various international posts, such as marketing manager CIS, Mid-Europe manager, marketing manager New Europe&Export, country manager for Poland, regional manager for Central Europe, country manager for Spain and country manager for Baltic states.
“Despite that home appliance market in Romania is heading downwards, it has a major growth potential on a long term. I am confident that my international know-how and expertise gained in similar market as Poland, would contribute to the growth of Indesit in Romania”, said Giuseppe Parma (photo).

In Romania, Indesit Company is operational since 1996. The local office oversees the commercial, logistic and marketing services. The distribution of products is conducted through specialized partners in the country.
