Ovidiu Wencz, general manager of charcuterie producer Tabco-Campofrio, will not be part of the management of Caroli Foods Group, formed by the merger of the Caroli group with the local subsidiary of European giant Campofrio Food Group, according to sources in the industry.
The quoted sources say Wencz, who has been at the helm of Tabco-Campofrio in the last eight years and one of the longest-standing chief executives of a multinational subsidiary, will leave the company as soon as the integration process between Caroli and Campofrio has been completed.
Contacted by Ziarul Financiar, Ovidiu Wencz did not wish to comment on the information or provide further details. "It is true that we have had talks about the company's management structure, but I cannot reveal further details. Until the merger is completed, I will keep my current position," said the general manager of Tabco-Campofrio, a company with around 650 employees and 32 million euros in turnover.
