Dan Bulucea, marketing and business manager (BMO Lead) of Microsoft Romania, resigned from the company, citing his wish to do something else after 12 years of working at the American software manufacturer.
"It wasn't a forced decision, but a joint one with the company management. One of the main reasons for my departure is that I wanted to do something new after 12 years within Microsoft," Bulucea told ZF.
He will remain within the company until April 30th "in order to ensure a smooth transition". Dan Bulucea was appointed as BMO Lead of Microsoft Romania, the local subsidiary of the American software producer in 2006, after he was Senior Platform Manager at the Microsoft Centre for Central and Eastern Europe in Germany.
Dan Bulucea said he has got a few offers and is weighing his alternatives, one of which is to start an IT&C business.
According to Bulucea, the recruitment of a new marketing manager will start this week. "Initially, a company employee will be appointed to take over my tasks, but we want the selection process to be open for candidates from abroad, as well," Dan Bulucea told ZF, without giving any specific names.
