Vincent Kneppert, the company's general manager, believes operational leasing is still very little known in Romania, but the sell & lease back system it applied in its partnership with Petrom helps the market grow and a rising number of companies are getting interested. Kneppert added that through this system companies transfer risks to partners and at the same time get cash they can use to develop their core business. For car resale, ALD also launched a new online platform presenting the features of cars that were used by clients. ALD plans to resell more than 1,000 vehicles in 2010. The age of a car of the used car fleet may be of as much as 38 months and resale lasts 22 days on average. "I cannot wait more than one month for a resale, because we're losing money", Kneppert says.
