The new offers promoted by developers target the Frumusani, Cernica, Popesti-Leordeni, Bragadiru and Mogosoaia areas, which do not seem to be attractive to young people, but only to older people, who wish to leave behind the hustle and bustle of the city.
"Things are the same as they were two months ago. All affordable offers are for homes outside Bucharest. We will eventually go for an old apartment, in an area with easy access to the tube, a park and supermarkets. We have been looking for a home for two or three months, having had our loan approved via the 'First Home' scheme," says Raluca Constantinescu, 23, who works in the travel industry.
