Decathlon bought a 2.2-hectare plot of land that also allows a possible expansion of the store that will initially have an area of around 4,000 square metres, with the sale area standing at 3,000 square metres. The French company, which opened its first Romanian store in Militari Bucharest district, secured another five openings domestically, two in Bucharest and a store in Constanta, Timisoara and Brasov. The company's representatives did not specify the value of investments in the Iasi store by edition close, with the average budget earmarked for rented units stores around 4m euros. ERA Iasi is one of the biggest retail parks outside Bucharest.
