Cristian Gheorghe, 39, general manager of Business Intelligence Alliance (BIA), a recruitment and payroll company, has entered the market of personnel leasing services and believes the company will end the year with one million euros in sales, compared with last year's 400,000 euros.
"We had been planning to launch the personnel leasing division for a year and a half, but chose this moment because one of the clients to whom we were providing payroll services (salary payment) had to outsource some of their employees. We have already taken over 200 of them as part of a leasing arrangement," says Gheorghe, who estimates the new division will trigger a turnover rise by the end of the year.
Hiring on a temporary basis is an alternative for companies pressed to cut costs, but which still have projects that require personnel. The leading recruitment companies that offer personnel leasing services include APT, Professional, Aims, and Lugera & Makler.
