The group specialises in business consulting and operates in the Business Process Management sector, which entails development of business streamlining and monitoring software. "BPM is new on the international market and it is the segment of IT&C with the fastest growth worldwide at present," Cornel Vintila, 55, chief executive and shareholder of Edata, told ZF in an interview. One of the company's solutions is Apentix, which helps monitor processes in a company, a software that monitors how a company's employees perform their tasks. For this year the company estimates the turnover rise will mainly be driven by operations abroad. "Things are significantly different compared with last year, we are targeting the US market, which accounts for 5 million euros of our revenues, while the remaining turnover is derived in Romania and Europe," Vintila said. Edata Romania will this year contribute 7 million euros of the overall group turnover, up from 6 million euros last year.
