Elena Udrea went Thursday evening to the Bacău commune of Săuceşti, which was severely affected by the floods, and she brought with some help for the displaced: chocolate and black high heel shoes. Joining Udrea was Mr. Mihai Banu, a Democratic-Liberal Party Deputy from Bacău, who said of the shoes that they were "just good for the ball".
The Minister of Development and Tourism arrived in Săuceşti at around 19:00. She brought several bags of chocolate, saying that she emptied a gas station along the way, informs Mediafax.
Minister Udrea gave all the kids that came out her way chocolate. To the women in the commune she gave elegant black high heel shoes, straight from the back of a truck. "We also have some nice shoes", said Udrea.
One of the women who received the shoes said that she can't use them and that she would like to give them back if Udrea would take them. In the end, the woman changed her mind and said she would give the shoes to a niece.
This is the second time Elena Udrea went to Săuceşti.
The residents of four villages of Săuceşti Commune were evacuated July 1st, after the waters of the Siret flooded the locality and destroyed or damaged dozens of homes. (V.M.)
