Bearings maker Ina Schaeffler expects 333 million euros (1,432 million RON in turnover for 2010 for the plant in holds in Brasov, up 40% on the 235 million euros (999 million RON) recorded last year.
According to company representatives, the growth was budgeted based on the export market and on orders coming from the car industry.
"This year the foreign market is doing better than in 2009, and there are more orders coming in from the automotive sector and from the industrial sector," said Alexandru Blemovici, the company's general manager.
Schaeffler manufactures big bearings for use in various sectors that include the automotive sector, the industry, and the wind power sector.
