Smaller coffee vending machines and investments estimated at over two million euros in expansion into new locations could bring the Nestle Professional division an over 10% sales increase this year.
"This year's target is to preserve the same sales growth as in 2009, although we experienced a 5% decline in the first half of the year," says Ştefan Neagoe, Country Business Manager of Nestle Professional, the coffee vending machines division of Nescafe.
The business brought onto the Romanian market by Nestle in 2001 at a time when there were only a few hundred of coffee vending machines on the market - in office buildings or in transit locations, brought the Swiss manufacturer yearly growth. The market has now reached around 40,000 coffee vending machines, but stopped growing because of the crisis.
