In the first six months of this year 12 car brands recorded sales rises amid a 25% market decline. June was the first month of rise for the overall market in two years.
Amid a 10% rise of the car market in June against June 2009, the number of brands that returned to growth last month amounted to 20 after all players recorded declines of over 50% against the similar period of last year, according to players on the car market.
The biggest sales increases were recorded by BMW and MINI in the first half of this year, by 41% and 25% respectively. The third best selling premium brand is Porsche, with an 11% rise sales to over 30 units. The other brands that reported sales increases in the first half of the year were Great Wall, Daf, Scania, Chevrolet, Mazda, Ford, Volvo Trucks, Honda, and Lada.
