The net profit of "Concefa" Sibiu, specializing in construction services, has increased over six times in H1 2010, from 149,600 lei to 855,000 lei. The company"s turnover increased 33% during the reviewed period, from 25.3 million lei to 33.6 million lei.
The revenues of "Concefa" have increased nearly 11.5%, from 37.2 million lei to 41.5 million lei, whereas expenses only increased 9.7%, from 36.9 million lei to 40.5 million lei.
According to a report sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange, "comparing the two similar periods illustrates the increase in construction works, as Concefa has a portfolio contracts worth around 40 million Euros in 2010, in spite of the effects of the crisis on a national level".
The company is controlled by General Manager Horaţiu Cercel, who owns 52.7% of the shares of Concefa, whereas his mother Maria Cercel, holds 15.91% of the shares. The company is currently performing a share capital increase of 37.1 million lei, to 56.8 million lei by contributions in cash. At the end of July, the shareholders have approved the transfer of the company"s shares from the Rasdaq market to the Bucharest Stock Exchange or to the Sibex exchange.
