"Electromagnetica" Bucureşti has ended the first semester of 2010 with a net profit of 16 million lei, up 23% from last year"s similar period when it posted a profit of 13 million lei.
The company"s turnover increased 16%, from 200.1 million lei to 232.1 million lei.
Its revenues amounted to 234.7 million lei, up 16.2% from 201.9 million lei in H1 2009, while the company"s expenses climbed 15.3% YOY from 186.6 million lei to 215.3 million lei (51.9 million Euros).
Several shareholders control the majority stake in the company (55.06%), whereas the company"s Association of Employees holds 31.75%, and SIF Oltenia holds 13.18%.
The company"s line of business comprises the production of gauging and measurement devices, the casting of plastic parts and molds, the assembly and testing of electronic circuits, as well as the production and distribution of electricity.
