Cluj-Napoca-based EBS group, a provider of integrated management software solutions (Enterprise Resource Planning - ERP), announced it ended the first seven months of this year with around 3.8m-euro turnover, over 7% higher from the same period of last year.
The group has budgeted 12% higher turnover for 2010 and 15% higher gross income against 2009, to 6.7m euros and 1.2m euros, respectively.
Last year, EBS's profit reached 1.13m euros, around 22% lower year-on-year, with the figure harmed both by the difficult ERP market conditions, and the company's investments in SAP business development.
"As the domestic ERP market is still weak, our foreign market operations are the ones to have directly triggered the increase in EBS's revenues. We got the first positive results since starting SAP business and the application management and support services unit posted above-average growth," Daniel Metz, a CEO with EBS Romania, told ZF Transilvania.
