After leading 3-0 from the 15th minute, Kapetanos hit one of his opponents and was eliminated. Steaua resisted until the final seconds of the game, when the referee kept the game going so the Italians could score. Seven minutes, while only four were shown!
Steaua played wonderful in the first half against Napoli, but Kapetanos bad judgement and the Polish referee stole the victory. The Romanians received an excellent gift from Cribari, who managed to beat his own keeper.
Tănase, Diego
Everything was turning into an incredible dream! Tănase scored a fantastic goal that will blow away the scouters. The fans were starting the remember the good old days when Lăcă, Piţi, Balint, Tudorel and Duckadam used to play. Kapetanos scored from a pass from Bonfim and made it 3-0, a perfect start. It was incredible!
Kapetanos, are you mad?
A shocking start indeed. But then it started to collapse! Kapetanos went crazy and hit Santacroce, leaving his team in ten men in just the 30th minute. The Italians were revived! Steaua's defense made it's first mistake at the end of the first half, when Cribari hit the post and the ball went to Vitale who easily scored.
The Romanian way
The second half started with a big chance for Napoli, but Cavani couldn't push the ball into the net. Steaua started to show signs of recovery when Banel made a terrific shot into the post. The ball reached Tanase, but again De Sanctis was saved by the post. Steaua's fans were fantastic and managed to give the team the energy it needed. Mazzarri risked everything sending Hamsik into the attack.
And it worked. Hamsik scored a beautiful goal from 30 metres. The Italians were on top of the game. Steaua's defenders were doing everything to save the victory, but the referee did everything possible so Napoli would score the third goal. And Cavan
