BUSINESS Magazin weekly last night rewarded the most admired managers in Romania at the "CEO Awards" Gala, who feature in a ranking based on votes from over 250 managers and consultants.
The ranking of the "100 Most Admired CEOs in Romania," put together by BUSINESS Magazin, hits the newsstands on Monday and will be distributed free of charge to subscribers on the same day.
Mariana Gheorghe, CEO of OMV Petrom, is the most admired CEO in Romania in 2010, according to the BUSINESS Magazin ranking, followed by Misu Negritoiu, CEO of ING Bank, Liliana Solomon, CEO of Vodafone Romania, Dan Sucu, chairman of Mobexpert, and Steven van Groningen, CEO of Raiffeisen Bank.
The occupants of the top five positions of the ranking were awarded prizes last night both for their position in the ranking and for being the most admired CEOs in their respective industries.
Last night's gala, whose sponsors were E.ON Romania, Coca-Cola HBC and Philip Morris, also rewarded managers whose experiences and results drew admiration from fellow businesspeople in Romania.
