Noam Lenzini, managing director of Rafael & Sons Diamonds & Jewelries, an Israeli diamonds and jewellery company, explains why he believes Romania is the ideal place for his business: "Here I saw cars that I didn't see in Milan or Israel. In Israel I think we have one or two Ferraris in all and we are a wealthy country. "
Lenzini is a little over 30, but has been working for the company he now runs for nearly ten years, writes După Afaceri Premium magazine. "I became managing director in 2005, when the company started to manufacture jewellery. I travel a lot. My life is split among Tel Aviv, Bucharest, Hong Kong, New York, Aruba, Roma, Tbilisi, Barcelona, and Paris," he says, adding that he would have a really hard time picking a favourite destination, but it would have to be between Hong Kong and Romania.
"In Romania increasingly more people can afford luxury items. On my way from the airport to the centre of Bucharest, I saw two Ferraris. Which means people have got money and want to show it."
