NextGen Communications, a cable company owned by Romtelecom, has reengaged in a price war on data services segment with RCS&RDS and UPC, by launching a subscription for 100Mbps Internet for 31 RON (VAT included).
The campaign through which NextGen plans to expand its client base was launched early this month in around 30 cities, including Alba Iulia, Giurgiu, Miercurea Ciuc and Targoviste, and will end in early December.
"The offer is available only for new clients and is valid at the acquisition of an Internet service or a services package including Internet. The contractual period is the standard one, of 14 months (includes 2 months free of charge) or 26 months (includes 4 months free of charge)," NextGen representatives told ZF.
With a tariff of 31 RON per month for the 100 Mbps Internet, NextGen becomes the most aggressive player on the market, even against RCS&RDS domestic group.
