The Romanian arm of the world's biggest software producer has several tens of vacant positions for the Bucharest subsidiary.
The software giant currently has over 300 employees in Romania, being one of the main IT employers domestically. At present, employees' age average is 28.
"The positions published on Microsoft's website cover all the Romanian organisations and more. The vacant positions for Romania are on the technical support segment, but also in the sales verticals of the sales and marketing organisation. Moreover, we are preparing a recruitment event for the IT development area for Redmond (Microsoft's US centre i.e.)," Cosmin Bordea, Country HR Manager with Microsoft Romania, told ZF.
Requirements for each candidate largely depend on the position they apply for.
"We're trying to always recruit by taking into consideration not only the position involved, but also the positions that may emerge in Microsoft for the respective candidate. (...)," Bordea also said.
He provided no details about the salaries offered by the company. IT industry salaries are among the highest in the economy.
