While constructions were first raised at Eroilor bridge, where Opera Center project was carried out, the area close to Grozăveşti bridge, where the first stage of Sema Parc project and Riverside Tower building, where the Bucharest City Hall moved, were finalised, as well as the section between Mărăşeşti passageway and Timpuri Noi, where five buildings have been erected in recent years, have also become attractive.
Developers will raise further buildings on Dâmboviţa banks in the following years as well. In Grozăveşti area, businessman Ion Rădulea is in talks to get funding for the second stage of Sema Parc, with another project being announced by Austria's Europolis.
On the other hand, Timpuri Noi site has been almost completely taken down by its current owners with a view to ceding the 5.1 hectare plot of land to a company part of IKEA, which plans to develop a real estate project made up of offices and housing units here.
