At present, Canea handles the development of a new line of business, toy import and distribution, as well as other projects, after working for businessman Octavian Radu's RTC group for seven years, and from January 2009 until April 2010 she ran Diverta, the biggest book dealer on the Romanian market, with 30 million-euro turnover last year. From one employee in 2000, Pamimai has reached 160 employees and a fleet of 200 cars purchased under a leasing agreement from BCR Leasing, according to Mircea Oprescu, Emilia Canea's brother. He is CEO of Pamimai Distribution and holds 55% in the company. The rest is controlled by his brother-in-law. In 2009, Pamimai distributor posted a 45 million-euro (188 million-RON) turnover, up 67% on the previous year and an 85,000-euro profit.
