Italian daily La Repubblica released in its 23rd of January edition an interview with Romanian Ioana Visan, the young Romanian girl involved in the Rubygate scandal which targets PM Berlusconi. In the interview the 32 year old Romanian, known as Annina, brings new details related to her relationship with Berlusconi, which she met several years ago at the theater.

Visan considers herself lucky for having met the Prime Minister but does not wishes to comment when the Italian interviewer asks her if she had a sexual intercourse with the Italian official. In the end, the Romanian complains about the way she has been treated by police officers who searched her house – Berlusconi’s property – and was treated as a criminal and accuses journalists of naming her a luxury prostitute just because she is Romanian.

She claims she pays her own rent of the apartment in Milan and is a law student.
