The first 100 files for "First Home" mortgages from the 2011 ceiling have already been approved by the SME Loan Guarantee Fund (FNGCIMM) a week after the scheme was re-launched, but none of the banks that answered a ZF survey have effectively released any loan.
"We've already received approvals, so that the first loans will be released in a few days. After we get the approval, we are going through a stage that depends on several factors and it days a few more days until the loan is effectively granted," stated Raiffeisen Bank representatives.
The fund started receiving documentations on February 1 and has so far given the go-ahead for almost 100 files, according to the representatives of the institution.
The 200m-euro guarantee ceiling allotted for 2011 was distributed among the 21 participating banks at the end of January.
