The firm run by lawyers Florentin Ţuca, 41, and Gabriel Zbârcea, 38, last year derived lower success fee income against 2009, when a series of international arbitration deals were inked, but beefed up its yield as regards the number of worked hours and added companies such as Rompetrol, Ţiriac Holding or Gabriel Resources to its client list, with the revenue gap standing at just 300,000 euros. The firm also improved its profitability last year, so that while in 2006-2009 period its margin revolved around 60%, in 2010 it reached 73%, as the profit hit a record high for the domestic legal services market, of 16.4m euros. In other words, the 15 equity partners of Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii ended last year with an 1.1m-euro average profit, with the sum being higher for the main partners (Ţuca and Zbârcea) and the group of founding partners and lower among those that recently became partners.
