Sandero cars are more expensive in Romania than in countries with a four times higher GDP per capita and four times higher wages, such as Spain, Italy and Germany. In Romania, Sandero costs 7,250 euros, while in Italy it costs 6,950 euros, and in Spain and Germany it starts from 6,990 euros. The comparison was made for similarly-equipped cars, with all fees included.
"The price policy of any carmaker is determined by several factors such as the positioning it targets on the market, tax conditions in that respective country, as well as the range structure and the car features available. For instance, the Sandero range is not the same in Brazil, Russia, South Africa and Bulgaria," said Dacia representatives.
