Over the last few months, issues concerning health and research in the field have become the main concern of the two founding members of Google, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, both aged 40, The Telegraph writes. The two have recently faced rather serious medical issues, which has determined them to start the Calico project. Aside from the billionaires of Google, Calico also has the backing of several companies and organizations that handle the problems in the health field. The investors also include Peter Thiel, the billionaire co-founder of PayPal and an investor in Facebook. Thiel said: "I am joining the project because I believe that researching the aging process will allow people in the future, to enjoy a longer and healthier life".
