At 10 am, the Central Electoral Office (BEC) announced the first partial official results of the elections after centralizing some 71.06% of the cast votes. According to data, Democrat Liberals received more votes than Social Democrats both in the Senate and in the Chamber of Deputies, contrary to what two exit polls on Sunday showed.

Chamber of Deputies: PDL-33,39%, PSD-32,51%, PNL-18,1%, UDMR-6,2%.
Senate: PDL-34,67 PSD-33,36%, PNL-18,18%, UDMR-6,4%
