The eighth edition of the National Exhibition of Constructions and Installations CAMEX was inaugurated yesterday, in the presence of several officials of Constanţa County.
This event, held in the new exhibit pavilion, had some very special visitors, in the first hours from the opening: Nicuşor Constantinescu, president of the County Council, prefect Liviu Brăiloiu, deputies Antonella Marinescu and Matei Brătianu, and also senator Alexandru Mazăre. Constantinescu wished to emphasise the importance of constructions for the economy and to state that "if it weren't for this sector, we would lack a lot of places to work and we could not develop. On the other hand, Florin Mindirigiu, the general manager of AB Plus Events, gave all a very good news, considering the crisis we are presently traversing: "Lately, there has been a growth in the construction sector". All the speakers mentioned the economical recession, but they also explained that constructors should also get over these hard times, as they should not let themselves get down by economical problems. This year, all 100 companies present to CAMEX came with their newest technologies for constructions and site buildings: massive wood furniture, interior and exterior doors made from stratified wood, Italian and German technology, interior furniture, bath and kitchen furniture, stairs, parquet floor and movable louvre shutters made from massive wood. CAMEX will go on, today and tomorrow, having prepared a special programme for different conferences. Today, in the conference area, there will take place exhibitiona and seminars of great interest for Constanţa citizens, for example: "Peninsula, Constanţa's historical area" held by architect Radu Cornescu, the president of the Order of the Architects in Romania, Dobr
