Approximately 300 people protest in Brasov (Central Romania) on Tuesday afternoon, in the centre of the city, near the Revolution Crucifix, out of solidarity with the anti-PSD demonstrations in Timisoara (West), where Mircea Geoana, Crin Antonescu, Klaus Johanis and Gheorghe Ciuhandu signed the "Pact for Timisoara", Romanian news agency Mediafax informs. Around 500 people protested in the Universitatii Square on Tuesday, for over four hours, in a sign of solidarity with the anti-PSD protests in Timisoara. Participants said they will continue their protests on Wednesday as well.

The protesters, mostly youth, shouted "Down with the communism!", "Brasov, Timisoara, tomorrow all the country!", "Down with the dictatorship!", "Iliescu, don't forget, Romania is not yours!", "Shame, shame for the spilt blood". The youngsters sang Romania's national hymn and recited "Our heavenly Father".
The protesters bear the Romanian flag, scream, shout and whistle, claiming that the protest is spontaneous and they protests alongside with people in Timisoara, who had an anti-PSD reaction today in the Operei Square in the Western city.
Protester Stefan Munteanu said: "We don't want to return to communism. We saw what happened in Timisoara and that is why we took to the streets as well".
Tens of gendarmes insure the public order in the area. "We've got sufficient forces to ensure the public order. We've got several tens f gendarmes which will make sure that everything stays normal.
