The biggest market increase this year was registered by Dacia brand, which advanced from a 29% market share in the first 11 months of last year to almost 32% this year, considering its sales dropped by 11%, to 35,200 cars, half of the overall market's decline.
In the ranking of market share trends, the next two positions are held by General Motors, Opel and Chevrolet brands, which together also ranked second among the best-selling brand within "Rabla" (old car scrappage) scheme.
The steepest market share decline reported by a top ten import brand was witnessed by Hyundai, which from 7.4% in 2009 dropped to less than 4% this year, amid the almost 60% lower sales, at 4,256 units.
