Augustus Constantin, the Committee’s president son, hasn’t gave the physical tests for one year, but he is among the most delegated "centrals" in the present season
The first real derby of the return, CFR - Rapid, will have in the middle a FIFA referee, Augustus Constantin. The son of the chief from CCA is in a controversial state before this delegation. Known as one of the referees who were hardly passing the Test Cooper, he hasn’t gave the obligatory physical tests for one year, :o because he missed every time from the courses when his colleagues gave the tests!
July 2008: "It rains, so we cancel the tests!"
How did they reach this situation? Last summer, Augustus Constantin participated to the referees’ course, which took place between 16 and 18 July at Bazna (Mediaş). He didn’t give the physical tests, because the chiefs from CCA had taken a decision which surprised the referees at that time. "It rains, the weather is bad, so we won’t give any physical test" was a Gheorghe Constantin’s decision, so that, at the beginning of this season, all the referees had been delegated without knowing the physical parameters!
September 2008: He was sent to international matches
Although in the internal rules of CCA it is clearly specified that the physical tests are compulsory, Constantin senior had taken the decision to call all the referees to give the tests only on September 3rd, in the first brake from League 1 due to the matches at the national team, after 6 laps have already been played. Augustus didn’t give the physical tests then either, although he had been present at the theoretical ones. Why? Because he was delegated to an international match Under 21, Croaţia - Albania 4-0, delegation which CCA had already found out about when they settled the date of the physical tests. Besides, he had been designated "reserve" by his fath
