Romanian press debates the European Parliamentary elections. Last but not least, Romanian director Corneliu Porumboiu’s film „Police, Adjective” won the Transilvanian trophy, the most prestigious award in Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF).

Adrian Severin became famous for not knowing the formula for water (H2O). Theodor Stolojan was appreciated for its economic skills, but is known to be a quitter: he quit the 2004 presidential elections and he gave up the Prime Minister role immediately after being elected in 2008. Elena Basescu is the incumbent president youngest daughter, known for her previous model career and night life.
