Jury awards River Invest in Developer of the Year category
River Invest and Sema Parc, the real estate project that the company is developing won awards in “Developer of the Year” and “Best office building project” categories. Sema Parc is located on 42 hectares land parcel on the right shore of Dambovita river and includes four A-class offices with gross surface of 363,950 sqm, shopping spaces and hypermarket, all on 172,900 sqm and a residential park of 122,150 sqm.
“Apart from its size, the project has several features that makes it different from all other real estate projects in this segment: a well positioning with access to all types of means of transport - including subway – to main road arteries of the city, sufficient lots in the underground parking, which help us increasing the green space area, a series of services - technical, intervention, cleaning and security, leisure spaces, restaurants and coffee-shops,” said Ion Radulea (photo), chairman of River Invest.
The first two office buildings within Sema Parc compound that cover 50,000 sqm, were sold at the end of 2006 for nearly 90 million euros to the Austrian investment fund Europolis, real estate division of Investkredit Bank AG Austria.
Local-capital River Invest is controlled by businessman Ion Radulea and it is operational since 2003 in real estate business, with a development strategy until 2018. The company plans to develop several other mixed-use projects in Bucharest and in the country.
